Student Intern

As a relationally trained therapist, I come into my work with clients with a systemic and multicultural lens. I am informed by the Health at Every Size model (HAES), neurodiversity, and anti-oppressive values, and am LGBTQIA+ affirming and allied. I honor, respect, and seek to understand each client's unique cultural identities, values, and life experiences that shape who you are and impact your experience of the world, relationships, and mental health.

I strive to be trauma-informed in my approach, and I work with both couples and individuals (age 18+). I find that I work well with clients who feel like outsiders or who often feel misunderstood by others. I am particularly passionate about supporting clients through grief and loss, spiritual abuse, or who are exploring or deconstructing their spiritual identity, values, and sense of meaning-making. I also work with clients struggling with OCD, and have a deep understanding of what is informally called “pure-O,” OCD, in which compulsions are not outwardly visible. This often includes taboo obsessions/intrusive thoughts, such as harm/violence, sexuality/sexual themes, religiosity, and more. I welcome those who experience these symptoms, and understand the complexity as well as the deep level of shame, isolation, and confusion that often holds people back from reaching out for help sooner. I also enjoy supporting couples who are struggling through infidelity and rebuilding trust, as well as those who desire greater intimacy and improved communication in their relationship.

I am a Couple & Family Therapy student at Antioch University, set to graduate at the end of 2026. Before grad school, I received my BA in Psychology and Arts & Literature. I moved from Northern California to Seattle when I was 18, and along with being a lifelong student, I have always worked with people in some capacity. Starting as a barista at a small neighborhood shop, I also worked as an art-installation assistant and have volunteered in various non-profit art programs in Seattle for years. I also gained valuable experience working in the community mental health system in youth and family services and in special education where I support neurodivergent children. Along with spending quality time with my loved ones (and a lot of alone time to recharge), I enjoy exploring the outdoors, various creative outlets, reading a good book, and getting on my bike on a hot summer day.

I currently primarily work with couples and individual adults (18+)
