Kelly Lynn Hlifaziel, LMHC
EMDR Certified | EMDR Consultant | Expressive Arts Therapy
I am fully trained and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) through EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association) and am an EMDRIA approved Consultant. I am also in ongoing training in expressive arts therapy which includes creative writing, dance, drama, music, and visual arts. I hold a Masters of Arts in Counseling from City University of Seattle. I discovered a passion for working with trauma survivors early in my counseling career and continue to find profound fulfillment working with clients as they move toward lasting positive change. I employ a person centered, collaborative approach to counseling working with my clients to find the best modalities to suit each person. I find I have a unique and profound connection with creative folks seeking therapy, whether you call yourself a hobbyist, an enthusiast, or a professional, work in and with the arts is one of my passions. I look forward to assisting you in developing your personal strengths and resiliencies and helping you work towards empowerment and well-being!

Originally from a small farming town in central Washington, I've had a variety of different careers and lived in various locales across the United States. I even held a top secret clearance while serving in the US Army! I enjoy playing tabletop roleplay games (D&D, Pathfinder, etc.), dance, yoga, theatre (especially musicals), and reading a good sci-fi/fantasy novel on a rainy afternoon.
I currently primarily work with individual adults age 25+, Supervisees, and Consultees.
