EMDR Trained

I am a licensed clinical social worker and trauma therapist. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy and receive ongoing consultation and education to enhance my practice. In addition to EMDR, I use various psychotherapy methods that are effective in treating trauma and improving clients’ well-being. I practice therapy using trauma-informed, person-centered, and strength-based approaches. As a white, cisgender woman, I am committed to understanding how my identity and privilege show up in both personal and professional spaces. My therapeutic work is strongly guided by intersectional feminism, anti-oppression practices, and a commitment to equity for all.

With nearly a decade of experience, I specialize in supporting survivors of gender-based violence, intimate partner abuse, sexual violence, and narcissistic abuse. Helping survivors is my passion, and I believe therapy is an essential part of healing, establishing safety, and moving forward. Whether you are navigating the aftermath of a relationship, recovering from sexual harm, navigating emotional abuse, or feeling the ongoing effects of trauma in your daily life, I am here to provide a supportive and grounded space as you heal and connect with what matters most to you.

I also enjoy working with clients who are managing concerns related to reproductive health, the perinatal period, and postpartum mental health. I actively engage in continuing education and training to better support individuals with complex trauma/PTSD (C-PTSD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attachment trauma, and substance use disorder.

My educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Seattle University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Human Sexuality Studies. I grew up in the Seattle area, where I currently reside. Outside of the therapy space, I spend most of my time with my kids and family. I also enjoy movement (yoga, walks, exercise), live music, travel, being by water, and quality time with friends and family over food and celebrations.

I work primarily with adults 18 and older. I am LGBTQIA+ allied and supportive of polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships. I am sex worker affirming. I take a harm-reduction approach to addiction and recovery. Clients of all sizes, family structures, and cultural backgrounds are welcome at my practice.
